PMS Punjab Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality & Domicile: Must be a Pakistani citizen with a valid Punjab domicile.

  • Gender: Both males, females, and transgender individuals are eligible.

  • Education Requirement: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) with at least Second Division from a recognized university.

  • Age Limit:

    • 21 to 30 years as of 1st January of the exam year.

  • Age Relaxation:

    • Government employees: Up to 5 years (i.e. up to 35 years), with 4 years of regular service.

    • Disabled candidates: Up to 10 years (i.e. up to 40 years), with valid disability proof.

  • Number of Attempts: No fixed limit, as long as age and eligibility conditions are fulfilled.

  • Employment Status: Both fresh graduates and working professionals (public or private sector) can apply.

What is PMS?

The Provincial Management Service (PMS) is a competitive examination conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) to recruit provincial officers for administrative posts in Punjab. It includes written exams, a psychological assessment, and a final interview. Successful candidates are appointed to key positions such as Assistant Commissioners, Section Officers, and other roles within the provincial government. To be eligible, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet age and domicile requirements set by PPSC.
