PCS Sindh Eligibility Criteria

  • Conducting Body: Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC)

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of Pakistan.

  • Domicile: Must possess a valid Sindh domicile (Urban or Rural).

  • Gender: Open to male, female, and transgender candidates.

  • Education Requirement: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) from a recognized university.

  • Age Limit:

    • General age limit is 21 to 30 years as of 1st January of the examination year.

  • Age Relaxation:

    • Government Employees: Up to 5 years age relaxation (i.e., up to 35 years) for those with required service duration.

    • Other Categories: Age relaxation may be applicable for special cases as per SPSC rules.

  • Number of Attempts: No official limit; candidates may apply as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

  • Language Medium: The exam is usually conducted in English and Urdu, depending on the subject.

  • Eligible Candidates: Both fresh graduates and currently employed individuals in public or private sector can apply.

What is PCS?

The Provincial Civil Services (PCS) exam is a competitive examination conducted by the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) to recruit officers for various administrative and executive posts in the provincial government of Sindh.
